Das goldene Phantom
Barely 2mm in size and yet a small miracle – a cicada nymph on its green stage. The white wax threads on the abdomen are no coincidence: they serve as protection, camouflage, and water repellency. The golden body shines like a tiny jewel – discovered only because one got close enough.

Kaum 2mm groß und doch ein kleines Wunder – eine Zikaden-Nymphe auf ihrer grünen Bühne. Die weißen Wachsfäden am Hinterleib sind kein Zufall: sie dienen als Schutz, Tarnung und Wasserabweisung. Der goldene Körper leuchtet wie ein winziges Schmuckstück – entdeckt nur, weil man nah genug herangegangen ist.
