Ein Habicht hat sich auf der Eiche in Nachbarsgarten niedergelassen um eine gerissene Taube zu verspeisen. Leider habe ich ihn nicht wieder gesehen.

Crocodile tegu or armored tegu
This lizard belongs to the family of whiptail lizards and originates from northeastern South America. Its name comes from the ossified, plate-like scales that resemble those of crocodiles. The crocodile tegu is diurnal and primarily feeds on freshwater snails. It lives in densely vegetated swamp areas and mostly stays in or near the water.

Krokodilteju oder Panzerteju
Diese Echse gehört zur Familie der Schienenechsen und stammt aus dem nordöstlichen Südamerika. Seinen Namen verdankt er den verknöcherten, plattenartigen Schuppen, die an Krokodile erinnern. Der Krokodilteju ist tagaktiv und ernährt sich hauptsächlich von Süßwasserschnecken. Er lebt in vegetationsreichen Sumpfgebieten und hält sich überwiegend im oder am Wasser auf.
