    Hamburg Harbor
Hamburg Harbor, May 2020 In the warm light of dusk, Hamburg Harbor presents itself as a place between industrial precision and maritime elegance. At the center of the image lies the MS Hamburg in a dry dock at the shipyard. Surrounded by massive cranes and technical equipment, the cruise ship appears both monumental and vulnerable – a symbol of the constant renewal and care behind the operation of modern shipping. The orange sky and the reflective surface of the Elbe add an extraordinary calm to the scene. In the background, the MS Europa can be seen at the quay, adding another maritime presence to the composition. The image shows the harbor not only as a transportation hub but also as a workspace and living environment where technology, economy, and the longing for distant places converge. The evening atmosphere allows the usually busy harbor to pause for a moment and offers a poetic view of one of Europe's most important seaports.

      The Strip
The shot shows an atmospheric long exposure on the famous Las Vegas Strip in the city of Las Vegas during the blue hour. The long exposure creates dynamic light trails from passing cars, stretching across the street in white and red lines, adding movement to the scene. At the center of the image is the Paris Las Vegas hotel with its distinctive, illuminated replica of the Eiffel Tower, glowing in warm gold and red tones. Next to it is the iconic hot air balloon lighthouse of the resort, emphasizing the Parisian theme. On the right side, you can see the modern Planet Hollywood Las Vegas hotel with colorful LED billboards and palm trees, conveying the typical atmosphere of the Strip. The combination of neon-lit architecture, reflective asphalt, and flowing light trails creates a vibrant urban night mood that impressively captures the energetic character of Las Vegas.

      Welcome to Las Vegas
Sometimes you have to make sacrifices for a good photo, even on vacation. So it was: drag yourself out of bed early and head to the famous "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign. In Las Vegas, you're never really alone, so there was only one option: sunrise. Luckily, my wife understands and knows that sometimes you have to put in the effort for the perfect shot.

        One Innovation
The pink ship is about 400 meters long and 61 meters wide – and is just one of six ships with a loading capacity of over 24,000 containers.

        Skytree
The Tokyo Skytree is the landmark in Tokyo, Japan. With a height of 634 m, it is currently the second tallest TV tower in the world. Since its opening in 2012, the two observation decks (at 350 and 450 m) have been the highlight of every trip to Tokyo, offering a view all the way to Mount Fuji.

        Metropolitan expressway nr 1
This was a pure coincidence on the way home from work to a shrine I wanted to visit, but when I stood on this pedestrian bridge, I just had to set up the tripod. Here I combined several long exposures.
