After a day stage of a total three-day Alpstein circuit, we spent the night here, strengthened ourselves with a traditional Swiss Rösti and took on the steep ascent along the distinctive rock face the next morning. Despite knowing that the rock face above the house overhangs and that the house protects against heavy rain but not against falling stones, we spent a quiet, pleasant and unique night here. more Less
