..Qatar, Doha...... I followed the Sheikh's invitation because I was one of the main winners (Grand Prix) of the international Al Thani photo contest. All international winners had the EXPRESS permission of His "Majesty" to photograph, including women. Well, I didn't need to be told twice. Only the reactions of the "ladies" were so intense... when the women noticed I was photographing them, they begged me, practically on their knees, to delete the pictures (they knew I had permission)... I wanted to know why??? They were afraid of their husbands... (after calming the women down, I of course deleted those pictures and refused to continue putting the women at risk)... different countries, different customs.....Qatar, Doha...... Alle internationale Gewinner hatten die AUSDRÜCKLICHE Erlaubnis seiner "Majestät" zu fotografieren, auch Frauen. Nun denn, das liess ich mir nicht zweimal sagen. Nur die Reaktionen der "Damen" waren sowas von heftig...... wenn die Frauen es bemerkten, dass ich sie fotografierte, flehten sie mich an, rutschten schon förmlich auf die Knie, dass ich die Bilder wieder lösche ( sie wussten, dass ich die Erlaubnis hatte )......ich wollte wissen warum ???? Sie hatten Angst vor ihren Männern.....( diese Bilder habe ich, nachdem ich die jeweiligen Frauen wieder beruhigt hatte, selbstverständlich wieder gelöscht, und es abgelehnt weiterhin die Frauen in Gefahr zu bringen) .... andere Länder andere Sitten.....
