This sea inlet (the Schlei, nearly 50 km long) is a promise. It draws you into a nature park whose picturesque landscape calls out. Its attraction awakens the longing for the sea, peace, and untouched beauty. The Schlei right on the doorstep, the Baltic Sea to the west, and the North Sea to the east—and me... right in the middle

Penguins in zoos often have to cope with extreme temperatures that do not occur in their natural environment. At 39 degrees Celsius in the first week of July, it is especially important that they have access to cool areas and plenty of water to avoid overheating. Life in captivity can be stressful for penguins, but with proper care and environment, they can still lead a relatively healthy life.

Pinguine im Zoo müssen oft mit extremen Temperaturen umgehen, die in ihrer natürlichen Umgebung nicht vorkommen. Bei 39 Grad Celsius 1. Juli Woche ist es besonders wichtig, dass sie Zugang zu kühlen Bereichen und ausreichend Wasser haben, um Überhitzung zu vermeiden. Das Leben in Gefangenschaft kann für Pinguine stressig sein, aber mit der richtigen Pflege und Umgebung können sie dennoch ein relativ gesundes Leben führen

A tram, one in the foreground while a historic building rises in the background – these are the moments I seek. They give my images not only a dynamic element but also tell the story of the vibrant energy of this city. It is a special challenge to capture the perfect moment when a tram passes by and the composition is just right – the right light, the right pose of the passersby, and the tram in the perfect position. This is pure street photography!
Dresden is simply a paradise for me. There is always something new to discover, a new perspective, a special moment. This city pulses, and I am grateful that I can capture all of this with my camera.

Eine Straßenbahn, eine im Vordergrund, während im Hintergrund ein historisches Gebäude aufragt – das sind die Momente, die ich suche. Sie geben meinen Bildern nicht nur eine dynamische Komponente, sondern erzählen auch von der lebendigen Energie dieser Stadt. Es ist eine besondere Herausforderung, den perfekten Moment abzupassen, wenn eine Bahn vorbeifährt und die Komposition gerade stimmt – das richtige Licht, die richtige Pose der Passanten und die Bahn in der perfekten Position. Das ist Streetfotografie pur!
Dresden ist für mich einfach ein Paradies. Es gibt immer etwas Neues zu entdecken, eine neue Perspektive, einen besonderen Moment. Diese Stadt pulsiert, und ich bin dankbar, dass ich all das mit meiner Kamera festhalten kann.
