Where I live > the Verler Lake
1 lap around is 1.9 km, plus another 1.3 km from home, making a very nice jogging route.
Before I lived here, I couldn’t imagine how many different facets such a small lake offers. In autumn it’s noisy > the geese arrive. In winter very quiet, and the changing light makes the lake look different all year round... and you don’t even have to get in the car

Da, wo ich wohne > der Verler See
1 x rum sind 1,9 km, von zuhause noch mal 1,3 km dazu und das ergibt eine sehr schöne Joggingrunde.
Bevor ich hier nicht gewohnt habe, konnte ich mir gar nicht vorstellen, wieviel unterschiedliche Facetten so ein kleiner See bietet. Im Herbst ist es laut > die Gänse kommen. Im Winter sehr ruhig und das unterschiedliche Licht läßt den See das ganze Jahr über immer anders aussehen und....man muß sich nicht erst in&039;s Auto setzen

Lavender, it's blooming again now...
...and is gladly visited by bees, bumblebees, and the other buzzing insects that enjoy the nectar. And everything happens very peacefully (there's plenty to go around).

Lavendel, jetzt blüht er wieder ...
...und ist gerne gesehen von Bienen, Hummeln, und das andere Gesummse, das sich am Nektar erfreut. Und alles geht sehr friedlich von statten (ist ja auch genug da).

Fifth season - that was already a few months ago
...which can be clearly seen at the Hoppeditz Monument in Düsseldorf. He should rest and regain strength, because in February it starts again.....

Fünfte Jahreszeit - ist jetzt schon ein paar Monate her
...was man am Hoppeditz Denkmal in Düsseldorf sehr gut erkennen kann. Soll er doch ruhen und Kraft tanken, den im Februar geht es wieder los.....

Darß - Weststrand
This is something you have to see. Something so natural on a German coast. You can really feast your eyes. And it stays that way, because you have to walk 4 km to the beach (lots of mosquitoes in summer) or ride your bike partly through deep sand. But... it's worth it!

Das sollte man mal gesehen haben. So etwas ursprüngliches an einer deutschen Küste. Man kann sich richtig "satt" sehen. Und das bleibt auch so, denn man muß 4 km zum Strand gehen (im Sommer jede Menge Mücken) oder mit dem Rad teilweise durch tiefen Sand fahren. Aber ....es lohnt sich!

Immer ganz spannend, wenn man mal näher ran geht oder entsprechend vergrößert.
