Peace at the Lake
Idyllic tranquility, only the chatter of ducks, seagulls, geese, or in the distance the calls of cranes, which flew over the lake some time later, could be heard. Some swans made their first attempts to take off from the water with their wings, which didn’t quite succeed yet. Meanwhile, one retreated into the water lily colony and remained undisturbed. A deer stepped out of the thicket to the shore and quenched its thirst completely unconcerned, then strolled along the shore for a while before disappearing back into the reeds. Mallards and coots slowly and unconcernedly circled around, completing the picture of peace at the lake.
I thought for a long time about whether to show this shot completely unedited. Taken straight from the camera and shown here. The early morning hour is what fascinates me—the changing light, the mood. Set up the tripod, camera ready, and then just wait to see what happens—that’s what I wanted to show.Peace at the Lake
