Molenfeuer at the North Mole
Molenfeuer are beacons located at the end of a harbor wall. The Molenfeuer at the North Mole, also called the "Old Mole" by many, is situated very close to the current naval base. From the tip of the mole, you have a perfect view of the Jade Bay and the opening to the open sea. In good visibility, you can even see the JadeWeserPort from here. Das Molenfeuer an der Nordmole, von vielen auch „Alte Mole“ genannt, befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe des heutigen Marinestützpunktes. Direkt auf der Mole an der Spitze hat man einen perfekten Ausblick auf den Jadebusen und die Öffnung zum offenen Meer. Bei guter Sicht kann man von hier sogar bis zum JadeWeserPort gucken. Ein Foto lohnt sich bei Ebbe als auch bei Hochwasser. Gerade direkt auf der Mole kann es zuweilen sehr frisch und windig sein, also entsprechend warm anziehen.
