Inspired by Uwe's comment, I re-edited the crocus photo from 18.03.25, especially changing the crop and format significantly. Lo and behold: the image has—at least in my eyes—gained a lot, looks more exciting, and the focus on the insect is now much more compelling...

Lo and behold: the image has—at least in my eyes—gained a lot, looks more exciting, and the focus on the insect is now much more compelling...

Siehe da: das Bild hat - zumindest in meinen Augen - sehr gewonnen, wirkt spannender, und auch der Fokus auf das Insekt ist jetzt viel zwingender . . .
Vielen Dank, lieber Uwe, für Deinen wertvollen und inspirierenden Kommentar! Da war ich wieder mal regelrecht betriebsblind gewesen, stolz wie Harry, dass ich das Bild fast unbeschnitten zeigen konnte . . .
Aber das ist für mich ja der Sinn dieser Community, ein reger Austausch zu den Bildern, um den eigenen Horizont und Blick etwas zu weiten, und sich somit photographisch weiter zu entwickeln . . .
