While browsing through my archive, I came across this old photo (slide). The picture was taken during one of my first trips abroad to the USA. Here, during a severe thunderstorm at a campsite in Phoenix, Arizona. Back then, you still had to wait for the photo development to see if the picture turned out well or not. I would say this one captures the full force of the storm quite well. Unfortunately, the quality of the slides has deteriorated over the years, and scanning didn’t help either. Entstehung des Bildes aus einer meiner ersten Auslandsreisen in die USA. Hier bei einem heftigen Gewittersturm auf einem Campingplatz in "Phoenix" Arizona. Dazumal musste man noch die Fotoentwicklung abwarten, um zu sehen ob das Bild gelungen war oder eben nicht. Hier würde ich sagen, um die geballte Gewalt dieses Gewitters zu spüren, nicht allzu schlecht. Leider hat die Bildqualität der Dias über die Jahre etwas gelitten und das einscannen hat es auch nicht besser gemacht. Zur Betrachtung eines interessanten Naturschauspiels sollte es dennoch reichen.
