NGC 281 Pacman Nebula with 15 hoursNGC 281 Pacman Nebula with 15 hoursNGC 281 Pacman-Nebel mit 15 Stunden
I was able to add a few more hours last night and now have a total of 15 hours and 5 minutes. But the end is not yet in sight. The goal is over 20 hours on the object to give it even more depth.
The post-processing: 181 images with 300 seconds exposure each were stacked into a composite image using DeepSkyStacker. The initial processing was done with Fitswork and the final touches with PS Elements 2020.
Captured from my remote observatory in Deidesheim. Telescope: TS Photoline 102/714mm, Reducer 0.79, ZWO ASI 294mc camera with Optolong L-eNhance filter. Tracking was done with a Skywatcher EQ6R.I was able to add a few more hours last night and now have a total of 15 hours and 5 minutes. But the end is not yet in sight.
