I took this young bird (you can clearly see that the feet are still dark and not orange like the adults) this morning at 7:36 AM. This was just the start of a whole series of about 900 pictures. A little later, three young kingfishers were seen in the tree. The adult birds came by frequently to bring the little ones fish now and then. Unfortunately, I couldn't photograph the fish handover because the branches of the tree were in the way. This will continue for a few more days until the adults drive the young ones out of the territory. I am currently sorting through all the pictures but will upload some in the next few days.Dieses Jungtier (sehr gut zu erkennen das die Füße noch dunkel sind und nicht orange wie bei den Alttieren) habe ich heut früh um 07.36 Uhr aufgenommen. Das war nur der Auftakt einer ganzen Serie von ca. 900 Bildern. Es waren etwas später drei junge Eisvögel im Baum zu sehen. Die Altvögel kamen des öfteren Vorbei um den Kleinen ab und zu einen Fisch zu kommen zu lassen. Die Fisch Übergabe konnte ich leider nicht fotografieren weil die Äste des Baums im Wege waren. Das wird noch ein Paar Tage so gehen bis die Kleinen von den Alttieren aus dem Revier vertrieben werden. Bin jetzt gerade dabei die ganzen Bilder zu sichten. Stelle aber die Tage dann noch welche ein.
