Gravel conveyor belt on the Rhine
Over this long conveyor belt, gravel is transported from dredging lakes and from the Rhine and dumped on heaps. I was fascinated by the color blue and the beautiful perspective of depth.

Alpine idyll in front of the Great Mythen
The Große Mythen is with its 2,000 m indeed only a "hill" near the 3,000ers of the Swiss Alps, but the ascent to the summit is an exertion. However, it is more than rewarded with a gigantic view of the Vierwaldstättersee.

Der Große Mythen ist mit seinen 2.000 m zwar nur ein "Hügel" in der Nähe der 3.000er der Schweizer Alpen, aber der Anstieg zum Gipfel ist ein Kraftakt. Er wird jedoch mit einem gigantischen Blick auf den Vierwalderstättersee mehr als belohnt.

The Nördlingen city wall is the only city wall in Germany that has a fully preserved, walkable, and covered battlement. It encloses the entire medieval old town of Nördlingen and is continuously walkable over a length of 2.6 kilometers. The city wall includes five gates with four gate towers (Baldinger Gate Tower collapsed in 1703), eleven other towers, and two bastions.

Die Nördlinger Stadtmauer ist die einzige Stadtmauer Deutschlands, die einen vollständig erhaltenen, begehbaren und überdachten Wehrgang besitzt. Sie umschließt die komplette mittelalterliche Altstadt von Nördlingen und ist auf einer Länge von 2,6 Kilometern durchgängig begehbar. Zur Stadtmauer gehören fünf Tore mit vier Tortürmen (Baldinger Torturm 1703 eingestürzt), elf weitere Türme und zwei Bastionen.
