Deer in the lush grass
In the Rhäden, not only birds can be observed. Wild boars, foxes, and as here, deer are also frequently seen there. Especially this year, as the grass in the wet meadows grew very lush and juicy.

Reh im saftigen Gras
In den Rhäden sind nicht nur Vögel zu beobachten. Auch Wilsdschweine, Füchse und wie hier Rehe sind dort häufig zu sehen. In diesem Jahr besonders, da das Gras in den Feuchtwiesen sehr üppig und saftig wuchs.

Avenue in the Rhäden
I had already posted this avenue as a winter image before; it looked a bit bare. Now it has awakened in full spring green. The focus is deep in the background to draw you in. The light coming in from the depth is due to the position of the sun and also contributes to the sense of depth. By the way, the two black dots on the left edge of the path are two blackbirds.

Allee in den Rhäden
Diese Allee hatte ich schon einmal als Winterbild eingestellt, sah ein wenig karg aus. Nun ist sie in vollem Frühlings-Grün erwacht. Die Schärfe liegt tief im Hintergrund, um hineingezogen zu werden. Der Lichteinfall in der Tiefe ist dem Sonnenstand geschuldet und trägt ebenfalls zum Tiefeneindruck bei. Übrigens, die beiden schwarzen Punkte am linken Wegesrand sind zwei Amseln.

four swallows
Since the swarms of swallows were still visible here today, I took the opportunity to take more photos of them. They are very fast in the air and constantly change direction. But when they need to rest, you can catch a few of them in flight. I also have another picture where a single swallow is captured in flight. (Photo taken in portrait format, not cropped)

vier Schwalben
Da die Schwärme von Schwalben auch heute noch hier zu sehen waren, habe ich noch einmal die Gelegenheit genutzt und weitere Fotos von ihnen geschossen. Sie sind sehr schnell in der Luft und wechseln ständig die Richtung. Aber wenn sie dann mal ausruhen müssen, bekommt man die ein oder andere auch im Flug. Habe noch ein weiteres Bild, wo nur eine einzelne Schwalbe im Flug auf Foto gebannt ist. (Foto ist in Hochformat aufgenommen, nicht geschnitten)

Swallow Trio
This morning I was able to watch flocks of swallows repeatedly flying over the lake. Only when they rested on a tree could I catch some arrivals in flight. I focused only on a few sitting birds, to which a few others then joined. Here are just three, but there were certainly around 50.

Schwalben Trio
Heute Morgen konnte ich Scharen von Schwalben beobachten, wie sie immer wieder über den See flogen. Erst als diese sich auf einem Baum ausruhten, konnte ich Ankömmlinge im Flug erwischen. Ich hielt nur auf ein paar Sitzende, zu denen sich dann der ein oder andere gesellte. Hier nur drei, aber es waren sicher an die 50.

This stork (not from the nearby nest) circled for a long time over the Rhäden wetland, but then discovered it as a good feeding spot.

Storch im Landeanflug
Dieser Storch (nicht aus dem nahegelegenem Horst) kreiste zuvor lange über dem Feuchtgebiet Rhäden, hat es dann aber als guten Futterplatz für sich entdeckt.
