My name is Stefan, Toni’s brother. Many of you may only know me indirectly – as a behind-the-scenes developer, someone who occasionally got things running without being seen. But now I’m stepping forward. Not because I have to, but because I want to. Because I know what this club meant to Toni. And because I believe that together, we can preserve something that’s becoming rarer than ever: a space for genuine community in the digital age.

New Challenges – New Responsibilities

What Toni quietly managed is now clear: running this club takes not only time but money. For years, Toni quietly and modestly covered many of these costs out of his own pocket, without fanfare. To ensure the Photoclub can continue to exist and grow, we need to rethink this financial aspect. It’s very likely that fees for new premium memberships will need to increase significantly. Existing premium memberships will, of course, remain unchanged – as a token of our gratitude for your loyalty and trust.

Technological Change – And a Look Ahead

But this doesn’t just mean paying more – it means getting more in return. We’re already working on new features, improved processes, and exclusive content that will not only maintain the club but significantly enhance it. Stay tuned – something big is coming! Together with Mik, the club’s longtime developer and trusted partner, we’ve been intensively working for months on a comprehensive modernization of the club’s software. Not to change everything, but to make it simpler, faster, safer, and future-proof. Please understand that reorganizing the Photoclub will take some time. This may temporarily affect functionality, moderation, and support. But all of this is part of a clear vision: the Photoclub is not just here to stay – it aims to become the #1 of its kind!
