This is my first forum post, and I’m pretty excited...
I haven’t seen anything about this topic yet, so I’m guessing it’s new. If not, feel free to move it.
First off, I’m a private user and have no affiliation with DxO. I’m just sharing my experience with the community.
After spending €11.95 every month last year on Adobe’s Creative Cloud, I decided it was time for something new this year. While searching for a worthy alternative to Lightroom (no doubt, it’s a great program...), I came across DxO’s Photolab 3. It’s a small European company that’s really gaining traction in the photo editing world. They also acquired the Nik Collection, which used to be owned by Google. Overall, it’s touted as a great Lightroom alternative.
I gave it a try, and after years of using Lightroom, I honestly don’t miss it at all. The software runs super fast, organizing your photos is fantastic, and the results are excellent.
What I like best is that you buy the program once—no subscription, no cloud, no DVDs or anything. Just purchase, download, and get started.
The only downside, in my opinion, is the price. The regular cost (without the Nik Collection) is €199 for the Elite Edition. The Nik Collection (a bundle of additional programs, presets, etc.) is another €149.
I was lucky enough to catch a deal (they regularly pop up on the site) where I got both for €230. Not cheap, but still more affordable than subscribing to Adobe’s Creative Cloud forever. Just my two cents.
More experienced photo editors might miss some features, but I’m really enjoying the program.
Cheers, BenHey everyone,

Cheers, BenMoin zusammen,
Kaufen, downloaden, loslegen.
