What does everyone have up their sleeve?

Why not show off your vintage collections?
Many people still hold on to their old cameras, so it would be interesting to see what everyone has in their collection.
Today, for example, I went through my grandpa’s gear and that got me thinking.
Let’s see what everyone else has.
Show us your treasures!

@Andreas, I just had the thought that I could replace all my old cameras. I'm only missing the Agfa Click I and the Exakta VX 500, then I’ll have my entire collection back together. Let’s see how much this little project will cost me.
Cheers, Manni

Very low response, the forum itself is probably underused in general.

@Andreas

On September 9th and 10th, 2023, I uploaded a photo of my "old stock" each day. The response to the pictures was minimal. After that, I didn't upload any more images. It's a shame that the topic didn't catch on.
Best regards, Michael

I agree with Andreas: the forum is practically dead.
But this topic??? At 64, I’m too young to be stuck in old glass nostalgia. I do still have a few analog cameras, though, and their lenses (Minolta) can still be put to good use on a Sony A.

@Andreas Bibas "Very weak response, the forum as such is probably generally underutilized."

This is something I noticed and mentioned some time ago. The forum would be an excellent place for exchange. However, it seems it still isn’t being used much.
Best regards, Andreas

I need to add something. Yes, the forum is dead. I pointed that out a long time ago.
No matter how controversial a topic was, it just didn’t spark any interest.
What clearly works are political topics.
But in a photo club, I only want to discuss politics when it directly relates to photography.

"But I only want to discuss this in a photo club insofar as it concerns topics that affect me as a photographer."
There are definitely issues that touch on both: personality rights, property rights, and public rights are broad political topics that certainly impact photography and photographers. Travel rights and environmental/nature concerns related to travel are also political areas of tension that affect photographers. And this list is by no means exhaustive...

@Ulf Simon

Yes, if these relate to photography, they are definitely topics that should be discussed. However, we need to make sure the conversation stays on topic.

Best, Andreas
