Trying someone new every now and then ;-)

My name is Iris. I was born in the Ruhr area in 1981 and have truly fallen in love with this region. Today, I work at an advertising agency, after spending several years in product photography. I've been photographing for about 18 years now, but over the past 9 years, I’ve really deepened my passion. For a long time, I didn’t focus on any specific photography niche, but my love for history has brought that into focus in recent years. Nowadays, I spend as much time as possible capturing places long forgotten. The older the location, the more fascinating it is to me. To do this, I travel across the country and even to neighboring countries, exploring dizzying heights and claustrophobic depths. But I’ll let you be surprised.
