In the recordings, some visitors stand out clearly, while others blur into fleeting traces of color. Between clear contours and dissolved shapes, a pull arises that draws the gaze right into the action. Ein Platz wird zum Farbenmeer und die Menschen werden Teil des Bildes. Mit seiner Installation „Diving in the Sea of Colors“ verwandelt der Berliner Künstler Daniel Margraf den Kennedyplatz beim Essen Light Festival 2026 in eine leuchtende Welt aus Mustern und Projektionen. Das Licht verbindet Fass…Ein Platz wird zum Farbenmeer und die Menschen werden Teil des Bildes. Mit seiner Installation „Diving in the Sea of Colors“ verwandelt der Berliner Künstler Daniel Margraf den Kennedyplatz beim Essen Light Festival 2026 in eine leuchtende Welt aus Mustern und Projektionen. Das Licht verbindet Fassaden, Boden und Körper. Besonders helle Kleidung wird zur beweglichen Leinwand. Auf den Aufnahmen treten einige Besucher deutlich hervor, während andere zu flüchtigen Farbspuren verschwimmen. Zwischen klaren Konturen und aufgelösten Gestalten entsteht ein Sog, der den Blick mitten ins Geschehen zieht.
