After my computer recently gave up the ghost, it was replaced by a new, more powerful one. This allowed me to try something new that requires a lot of computing power: photo stitching. The attached photo was created in Lightroom from 12 individual shots. All photos were taken handheld, without a tripod. However, it requires a lot of post-processing to achieve the attached result, even though it still has much room for improvement. For a first test, I am personally satisfied.
And since yesterday was a very dull day with no structure in the sky, I also tested the relatively new "Sky Replacement" feature in Photoshop and added some drama to the sky.Photo Stitching

Nachdem mein Rechner ja neulich den Geist aufgegeben hat, wurde der durch einen neuen, leistungsstärkeren ersetzt. Dadurch war ich jetzt in der Lage etwas Neues auszuprobieren, was sehr viel Rechnerleistung benötigt: Photo Stitching. Das beiliegende Foto wurde in Lightroom aus 12 Einzelfotos zusammengesetzt. Alle Fotos frei Hand, also ohne Stativ, aufgenommen. Es bedarf dann allerdings sehr viel Nachbearbeitung, um dann das beiliegende Ergebnis zu erreichen, auch wenn dies noch stark verbesserungswürdig ist. Für einen ersten Test bin ich persönlich aber zufrieden.
Und da gestern ein sehr trister Tag war, der im Himmel keinerlei Struktur zeigte, hab ich dann auch gleich noch die relativ neue "Himmel ersetzen" - Bearbeitung aus Photoshop getestet, und dem Himmel etwas Dramatik gegeben.
