Roundabout in the municipality of Monheim am Rhein, Baumberg district / NRW. I hadn't been there for a long time. Then a first encounter at the town entrance. What kind of monster is that? I should actually focus on the roundabout. But my gaze inevitably and incredulously goes toward the center... yes, what is that supposed to represent? One or two tilted houses in red? If you want to know what the artwork means - please read on below...Kreisverkehr in der Gemeinde Monheim am Rhein, Ortsteil Baumberg / NRW. Ich war längere Zeit nicht mehr dort. Dann eine erste Begegnung an der Ortseinfahrt. Was ist das für ein Monstrum ? Eigentlich muss ich mich auf den Kreisverkehr konzentrieren. Aber der Blick geht unweigerlich und ungläubig in Richtung Mitte....ja, was soll das darstellen ? Ein oder zwei gekippte Häuser in rot ? Ich muss aufpassen, dass ich nicht die Ausfahrt verpasse.
Ich halte in einer Nebenstraße an und sehe mir die „Blechbüchsen“ mal an. Über Kunst kann man ja kaum streiten. Entweder es gefällt einem oder eben nicht. Mir sagte das als nicht Eingeweihter aber nichts. Werde mich später wohl informieren müssen.
