During a photography internship at the Zollverein coal mine in Essen, our group had plenty of opportunities to photograph a wide variety of objects under expert guidance. In the picture, you can see the coke oven area with its vertical oven chambers on the right side.

For me, the contrast between the dark foreground and the bright background was the main challenge in this photo.Bei einem Fotopraktikum in der Zeche „Zollverein“ in Essen hatte unsere Gruppe genügend Möglichkeiten die unterschiedlichsten Objekte unter fachkundiger Anleitung zu fotografieren. Im Bild sieht man auf der rechten Seite den Koksofenbereich mit seinen senkrechten Ofenkammern.
Für mich ist der Kontrast zwischen dem dunklen Bereich im Vordergrund und dem hellen Hintergrund die entscheidende Herausforderung bei diesem Foto gewesen.
