Hooray, I can already drive a tractor...
The Matheisemarkt in Schriesheim is a traditional wine and spring festival that attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Baden Bergstraße near Heidelberg every year in early March (lasting up to 10 days). It is considered the first major folk festival in the region, featuring rides, festival tents, and a parade. At the beginning, the Wine Queen and the two princesses lead the parade. Flag wavers, trumpeters, and drummers follow behind them. Many local winegrowers also drive between the various fanfare bands with their sometimes very old tractors. Since the weather was kind to us, the parade and the subsequent fair visit remain fond memories.' role="button">
Hooray, I can already drive a tractor...Hooray, I can already drive a tractor...Hurraaaaa, ich kann schon Traktor fahren...
The photo shows a little boy sitting on his proud father's lap, holding the steering wheel of a tractor. His facial expression says it all. His sister (on the right) looks at her brother somewhat incredulously, while the other sister is more interested in the spectators along the roadside.
