When they reach a shore, the silver herons are already waiting there (only these ones; I haven't seen the grey ones do this). The herons then easily catch the fish driven to the shore. The cormorants then turn around and hunt in the other direction. And again, the silver herons fly to the shore where the hunt is taking place. Meine Beobachtung hat mir eine "Zusammenarbeit" von Kormoranen und Silberreihern nahegebracht. Kormorane jagen in der Gruppe und treiben die Fische vor sich her. Kommen sie an ein Ufer, warten dort schon die Silberreiher (nur diese, die Grauen habe ich so nicht erlebt). Diese bekommen nun leicht die Fische zur Beute die ans Ufer getrieben wurden. Jetzt wenden die Kormorane und jagen in die andere Richtung. Und auch hier fliegen die Silberreiher wieder an das Ufer, wo die Jagd wiederum hinging. Deshalb scherzhaft der Bildtitel.
