Hoffnung "Castles of Love in front of Castle of Romance" von Klaus Meissler
"Castles of Love in front of Castle of Romance" As you can see in the photo, many hundreds of hearts have been found in Heidelberg. To commemorate their promise, couples have locked themselves forever to a designated spot on the opposite side of the castle and the Neckar River. The locks are engraved with personal initials – while the keys are kept by the respective couples.
Some, however, throw the keys into the river to declare their eternal loyalty and make it irreversible. That way, no one can break their promise. At least not by removing the symbol from the chain.

Further down, for those who want to know more about the story...' role="button">

"Castles of Love in front of Castle of Romance"

Who doesn't know the song: I Lost My Heart in Heidelberg...?
As you can see in the photo, many hundreds of hearts have been found in Heidelberg.

Further down, for those who want to know more about the story...
