Evening at Grüner See in Tragöß. Grüner See is a karst lake in Styria. The lake gently fills with very clear water as the snow melts on the surrounding mountain slopes. The water is therefore cold (5 to 6 °C) and the water level strongly depends on the season. The highest water level is reached in early summer, when the lake is about 10 meters deep at its deepest point. On the southeastern shore, there is an overflow shaped with boulders. On the southwestern shore, you can see the water flowing into the mountain. In autumn, it almost completely dries up. Shot with Pentax K1 and Pentax 15-30f2.8 at aperture 16 and ISO 400.
