An almost perfect autumn reflection with transparency at the Albulapass (archive photo)
I’m trying, following the forum discussion about "commenting more," to document the appeal of this photo.
About the creation of the photo "Albulapass": late September afternoon. The weather should not be completely clear (so not cloudless). Early autumn colors should be present but not fully developed. Photo location/composition: lake with mountains toward the pass summit, sunlight at the back. Weather preferably windless (a bit of luck here). Lake shot/reflection as centered as possible. Something should be visible in the foreground, like branches, grass, etc. I almost always use a polarizing filter to produce stronger colors that require less correction in post-processing or to better capture reflections. I’m also willing to make compromises, as in this photo. Anyone interested is welcome to comment on the image in their own way. Warm greetings, JoeAn almost perfect autumn reflection with transparency at the Albulapass (archive photo)
