Despite the snowstorm and light gusts of wind, I set out for the Quermarkenfeuer Kampen. Once there, I took the first shots and struggled with the snow that slowly piled up like a small mountain on the underside of my lens hood. Unfortunately, I couldn't remove the lens hood anymore because it was frozen in place. So I had to painstakingly clear the snow regularly with a cloth and without gloves. The lesson learned: a lens hood isn't always practical. Dort angekommen, schoss ich die ersten Bilder und kämpfte mit dem Schnee, der sich langsam an der Unterkante meiner Gegenlichtblende zu einem kleinen Berg anhäufte. Leider gelang es mir nicht mehr, die Gegenlichtblende zu entfernen, da sie festgefroren war. So musste ich mühsam mit dem Tuch und ohne Handschuhe den Schnee regelmäßig entfernen. Was lernt man daraus, nicht immer ist eine Gegenlichtblende sinnvoll. Doch die Belohnung folgte prompt, für einen kurzen Moment zeigte sich der Mond hinter den Wolken.
