This sight still shocks me to this day. A man with a child sleeping on the hard tiles, with their few belongings placed on the sidewalk next to a busy street. This was during a trip to Delhi. How deeply must one be entrenched in society, or have always been, to have to live like this?

Ein Mann mit einem Kind schlafen auf den harten Fliesen und haben ihr weniges Hab und Gut auf dem Bürgersteig neben einer stark befahrenen Straße gelegt. Hier bei einer Reise in Delhi. Wie tief muss man in der Gesellschaft angekommen oder schon immer gewesen sein, um so leben zu müssen ?
Doch die Inder sehen diese Art der Armut teilweise ganz anders, als wir es gewohnt sind.
