Der bundesweite Tag der Amsel wird in Deutschland jedes Jahr am 3. Juni gefeiert. Dieser im Jahr 2022 ins Leben gerufene Aktionstag soll die Aufmerksamkeit auf die Amsel (Schwarzdrossel) lenken, die zu den bekanntesten und am weitesten verbreiteten Singvögeln des Landes gehört. Da darf Amsel auch mal ausgiebig singen.
Der 3. Juni wurde als Hommage an den irischen Heiligen Kevin von Wicklow gewählt. Laut einer christlichen Legende soll eine Amsel ihre Eier in den ausgestreckten Händen des betenden Heiligen abgelegt haben, woraufhin dieser verharrte, bis die Jungen flügge waren.
