In the warm light of the lanterns, the two brothers stood side by side, almost like reflections of a past life. The cobblestone path led them back to the place where they had walked through the same forest as children, only now everything seemed quieter, deeper, almost enchanted.
"Do you remember?" one asked softly.

Im warmen Licht der Laternen standen die beiden Brüder nebeneinander, fast wie Spiegelbilder eines vergangenen Lebens. Der Weg aus Kopfsteinpflaster führte sie zurück an den Ort, an dem sie als Kinder durch denselben Wald gelaufen waren, nur wirkte jetzt alles stiller, tiefer, fast verzaubert.
„Weißt du noch?“, fragte der eine leise.
