Aquatic Warbler
The reed warbler is a small, rather inconspicuous songbird. In Germany, it gained special recognition when it was named Bird of the Year in 1989. It is closely associated with reed beds and is often called the "reed climber" because of its skillful climbing in the reeds.

Teichrohrsänger
Der Teichrohrsänger ist ein kleiner, eher unauffälliger Singvogel. In Deutschland erlangte er besondere Bekanntheit, als er im Jahr 1989 zum Vogel des Jahres gekürt wurde. Er ist eng an Schilfgebiete gebunden und wird wegen seiner geschickten Kletterweise im Röhricht oft als „Schilfsteiger“ bezeichnet.
