And Pelican Nebula IC5070. With the OMD EM-5 and Oly 75mm / 1.8. Total exposure time 1h52 - 337 images each 20s. Edited with Siril and Gimp. The nebulae in Cygnus in the Milky Way are comparatively bright. But I actually had a very dark location (at the Great Plöner Lake).

Im Schwan ist mächtig was los - hier vor allem die Nebel IC1318A und B (Schmetterlingsnebel). Der helle Stern links ist Deneb (Hauptstern vom Schwan und einer vom Sommerdreieck), der in der Mitte Sadr.
Nachführung mit Syrp mini - Panasonic G9 (ohne Umbau) mit Oly 75mm 1.8 bei 2.0. Ca.1.5h netto bei je 20s Belichtung. Unten die Verortung anhand von Astrometry und dem WWTelescope.

The municipality of Gleichen turns off all streetlights from 11:30 PM – here is one of my favorite spots in Appenrode. The light from Göttingen is nicely shielded by the Gleichen hills themselves (here with Orion above), but with the moon. On the left is my tracking mount (heavily distorted by the wide-angle lens): actually a video tripod with a tilt mechanism; aligned to the North Star with a simple finder telescope clamped at a right angle – there’s a Syrp mini on it, and on top of that a ball head. For the tripod, I now like to use a very old, cheaply bought used Linhoff tripod, a handpicked hardware store angle bracket for the right angle, and two plastic pipe clamps from the hardware store as a holder for aligning to Polaris. With this, thanks to the lightweight MFT equipment, I can expose about 10-15 times longer (than WITHOUT tracking). I then set the Syrp mini via Bluetooth on my phone to, for example, 60° in 4 hours. The Syrp mini turntable is highly recommended for time-lapse.

Aus 30 Bildern je 50s Belichichtung mit Abzug von Dunkelbildern - sogenannten "darks". Aufnahme mit selbstgebauter Nachführung basierend auf den Syrp mini und mit der kleinen GX80 / Oly 75mm 1.8.

3 galaxies in the Leo constellation. The main challenge was the alignment because it was very dark and my simple equipment didn’t quite cooperate but I still managed to catch them on the right edge. I really wanted to try the Hamburger Galaxy – well, the simple Lumus 100-300 at 200mm just barely had enough resolution.

Ein extrem einfacher und erstaunlicher Weise fast gelungener Versuch mit ganz kleinem Besteck:
Der Nordamerika-Nebel im Schwan. EIn Stack aus ca. 100 Bildern (und einigen Dunkelbildern) mit der Panasonic GM5 und dem ordentlichen einfachen Lumix 42.5mm 1.7. Deneb im Schwan als Hauptstern (der mittelhelle nach der Wega/Leier und vor dem Ataier/Adler des Sommerdreiecks). Kamera hin gelegt, per Hand die Ausrichtung geschätzt und per Zeitraffer Bolder eingefahren - ohne Kontrolle - aber mal Glück gehabt.
