SD Card Slot Not Working

SD Card Slot Malfunction
The SD card was inserted upside down in my Olympus EM1. Since then, even after carefully removing it with tweezers and reinserting it correctly, I can no longer eject it by gently pressing on the card. Does anyone know the mechanism and possibly have a tip on how I might fix this issue? Sending it to Olympus is, of course, the last resort.

I had the same issue once with a friend's Olympus camera. We solved it by removing the sticker from the SD card.

I recently had the same issue with the Sony RX 10 and tried everything, but nothing worked.
It ended up costing me €370.
In my case, the card slot is integrated with a circuit board.
Usually, there’s a small clip at the bottom right side that gets pushed in or breaks off when the card is inserted, and then that’s it.
That’s exactly what happened to me.

Thanks, Andreas. I'll continue transferring the images to the PC via cable. If necessary, I'll use tweezers to remove the card.
But maybe a specialist will have another solution.
Best regards, Petrus

@Petrus   ... sorry, but the only thing that comes to mind is customer service. That's exactly what I would do if I had a problem like this with one of my NIKON cameras!
Good luck!
