Pastellfarben
Pastellfarben sind Farben mit hohem Weissanteil. Also helle und zarte Farbtöne. Be sure to use a negative film. It will also work digitally, of course.
Overexpose slightly—avoid harsh contrast—shadows should still retain detail.
Use diffused light—days without direct shadows or strongly diffuse continuous light.
Inform the lab not to apply any corrections—preferably include a reference shot with normal contrast at the beginning.
Last week, there were some shots that showed pastel colors. You can adjust the settings digitally to compensate, though I’m not an expert on that—maybe someone else can chime in. If the lighting and exposure are too contrasty, as with analog, it might also be challenging to fix digitally.
