Yes, I was once a member.
That means there were about 15 of us sharing our photos there.
I had permission to upload ALL the photos. The reason: Not everyone was very tech-savvy.
OK, the small photo group wasn’t made up of professionals — they were mostly hobby photographers.

It didn’t take long before harsh criticism from other users started rolling in.
“You and your crappy photos from ???” was still the mildest comment.
Soon after, the whole thing disappeared. Apparently, everyone lost interest or the admin just didn’t want to keep it going.
We ended up on Flickr, and most of the group is still there to this day.Yes, I was once a member.

Wenig später war der ganz Laden weg. Es hat dann wohl doch alle erwischt oder der Betreiber keine Lust mehr dazu.

I remember it quite differently
than Hanseat — I learned a lot about seeing there.
I’m still working on my photography skills, though.

sehr schade, dass es sie nicht mehr gibt.
ich habe sie ganz anders in erinnerung
als - hanseat -, habe dort gut sehen gelernt.
gut fotografieren übe ich indes noch immer.

ich bin kürzlich sehr zufällig hier gelandet,
hatte gehofft, auch infra wiederzutreffen,
weil ich seine kommentare gelesen hatte,
aber er ist leider längst wieder weg ...

ich vermute, du weißt trotzdem noch,
wer dir heute auf deine ,alte' frage antwortet.
sonderlich aktiv werde ich aus zeitmangel
wohl nicht sein können, aber immerhin war ich

Only the last line was supposed to have a smiley.
Now there are three of them, way too many.
