At the request of Mr. Licht, I’m starting a new thread here. Apparently, he feels the need for a bit of discussion. Since I’m a communicative person, I’m happy to oblige. This is possible under the photos as well, but it tends to get a bit cluttered.
To start off, here’s the previous conversation.

I understand that people develop affinities for certain things. If someone develops an affinity for trains, users accept that they photograph the looks and occasionally details of them. If the photos are well done, that’s fine. But I can’t understand your affinity for your old self-developed images. Yet I always have to look at them here and wonder why you post them. The reactions are very lukewarm. I think you should reflect on that. They’re not an incentive to become a premium member. That’s why I’m no longer a premium member myself.

Oh, Mr. Licht,Quote from Heinz Licht (Handyknipser) on 11/02/2021: “I said goodbye to this forum and canceled my account. After the cancellation period ends, I will leave completely.”
If you’re now looking for a reason not to be a premium member, feel free to blame my photos. I can live with that. Even though I didn’t even know about Photoclub at that time. You’ve already shown you can look ahead.
You know, Mr. Licht, the world keeps turning. And by the way, it’s not revolving around you. It’s perfectly fine if you don’t understand something or don’t want to engage with it. But I don’t get what bothers you about the image sensor. Apparently, it’s not about the image itself but the technique behind it. It seems you have a troubled relationship with photography on film, especially black and white film. And now someone actually dares to publish such shots. Even though you, Mr. Licht, can’t stand it, don’t like it, or whatever.
You obviously aren’t open to constructive feedback. So my impression is that you just want to provoke a bit.
But maybe we should ask Toni if there could be a “Heinz Licht button”—a button that lets Mr. Licht decide what gets shown in the club.
By the way, the reactions I get are perfectly fine, and yours aren’t always better. But thinking about that... well, never mind.
Go ahead and indulge your affinity for Bayer sensors.

Oh dear, someone’s a bit pissed off. I have nothing against old black and white photos. If they’re good, technically sound in black and white, and well scanned, I can appreciate them. I can’t see those qualities in your black and white photos. Criticism of your photographic skills unfortunately doesn’t lead to self-awareness. Given the many comments on your black and white photos, you should have gained some insight by now. I look forward to more good conversations with you. Maybe you could help steer the discussion toward a more objective tone and talk about good black and white photos. The reactions in this forum are already pretty sparse, but that’s no reason to leave.

Oh, Mr. Licht,Since you don’t offer anything constructive, how am I supposed to improve? I might be able to do boring landscapes that aren’t in water, but there’s already a master of that, and black and white film is too expensive for me anyway.
I think I’ll start a thread in the forum so you can teach me something.

By the way, that’s a lot of words from you, which is unusual. But not a single word about the photo shown. Remarkable. Or as someone once wrote here: “A lot of words about nothing.”Hello everyone,

Bemerkenswert. Oder wie hier mal jemand geschrieben hat. Zitat: "Viele Worte um nichts."
