This photo was also taken in the Ruhr meadows near us. (I added a description of the location as an info comment on my kingfisher photo...) Depending on the season, these little friends can be found right next to the kingfishers. However, you have to look closely because they are sometimes perfectly camouflaged. Many walkers don't notice them because they simply overlook them. I wish everyone a wonderful Pentecost Sunday. more Less

Eine Aufnahme zum Thema "...direkt vor der Haustür". Auch diese Aufnahme entstand bei uns in den Ruhrauen. ( Beschreibung des Ortes habe ich als Info Kommentar bei meiner Eisvogel Aufnahme hinzugefügt...) Diese kleinen Freunde sind je nach Jahreszeit in direkter Nachbarschaft zu den Eisvö…Eine Aufnahme zum Thema "...direkt vor der Haustür". Auch diese Aufnahme entstand bei uns in den Ruhrauen. ( Beschreibung des Ortes habe ich als Info Kommentar bei meiner Eisvogel Aufnahme hinzugefügt...) Diese kleinen Freunde sind je nach Jahreszeit in direkter Nachbarschaft zu den Eisvögeln je nach Jahreszeit zu finden. Sie sind jedoch teilweise sehr gut hinschauen, da sie teilweise perfekt getarnt sind. Viele Spaziergänger beachten sie daher nicht, da sie einfach übersehen werden. Sometimes you don't need to go far... Kingfishers can be found right on our doorstep, in the Ruhr meadows of Mülheim Ruhr. After the formerly dead branch of the Ruhr was renaturalized, these little fellows have settled in various spots here. Alongside them, you can capture a variety of birds and so…Sometimes you don't need to go far... Kingfishers can be found right on our doorstep, in the Ruhr meadows of Mülheim Ruhr. After the formerly dead branch of the Ruhr was renaturalized, these little fellows have settled in various spots here. Alongside them, you can capture a variety of birds and some amphibians. I took this shot with a 600mm Sigma lens. From various hiking trails and bridges, you can photograph these animals without disturbing them. more Less

Manchmal braucht es keine weiten Wege.... Eisvögel findet man bei uns vor der Haustür, in den Ruhrauen von Mülheim Ruhr. Nachdem der ehemalige gerade tote Ruhrarm wieder Renaturiert wurde haben sich hier an verschiedenen Stellen diese kleinen Gesellen angesiedelt. Neben Ihnen kann man eine Vielfalt…Manchmal braucht es keine weiten Wege.... Eisvögel findet man bei uns vor der Haustür, in den Ruhrauen von Mülheim Ruhr. Nachdem der ehemalige gerade tote Ruhrarm wieder Renaturiert wurde haben sich hier an verschiedenen Stellen diese kleinen Gesellen angesiedelt. Neben Ihnen kann man eine Vielfalt von Vögeln sowie einige Amphibien vor die Linse bekommen. Diese Aufnahme habe ich mit einem 600mm Objektiv von Sigma geschossen. Von diversen Wanderwegen und Brücken kann man diese Tiere ablichten ohne sie dabei zu stören. more Less

On this tour, I went to the Lamprecht Cave near Lofer. It is a natural stone cave (not a dripstone cave) where photography with a tripod is permitted. Because of this, you can take shots with long exposure times and low ISO settings. The different rock layers stand out due to their varying colors. Die Lamprechtshöhle bei Lofer
Auf meinen Urlaubstouren versuchen ich auch etwas außergewöhnliche Orte zu finden wo man Fotografieren darf. Ich bin bei dieser Tour zur Lamprechtshöhle bei Lofer gefahren. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine Natursteinhöhle ( keine Tropssteinhöhle ) wo das Fotografieren auch mit Stativ erlaubt ist. Au…Auf meinen Urlaubstouren versuchen ich auch etwas außergewöhnliche Orte zu finden wo man Fotografieren darf. Ich bin bei dieser Tour zur Lamprechtshöhle bei Lofer gefahren. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine Natursteinhöhle ( keine Tropssteinhöhle ) wo das Fotografieren auch mit Stativ erlaubt ist. Aufgrund dieser Voraussetzung kann man Aufnahmen mit langen Belichtungszeiten und niedrigen Iso Einstellungen machen. Durch die verschiedenen Gesteinsschichten heben sich durch unterschiedliche Farbgebungen hervor. ( …ich werde eine Bilderserie hierzu auf meiner Homepage veröffentlichen.) I took this shot last summer on the way to an astrophotography session in Austria. The camera used was a Canon EOS 70D paired with a Meike fisheye lens. I took the photo in Rattenberg, the smallest town in Tyrol. You can capture interesting shots here both during the day and at night. I only used a monopod for this. Hallo. Diese Aufnahme habe ich letzten Sommer auf dem Weg zu einer Astro - Fotografie in Österreich gemacht. Als Aufnahmegerät kam eine Canon Eos 70d zusammen mit einem Meike Fisheye. Die Aufnahme habe ich in Rattenberg, der kleinsten Stadt Tirols gemacht. Hier kann man am Tage wie auch in der Nach…Hallo. Diese Aufnahme habe ich letzten Sommer auf dem Weg zu einer Astro - Fotografie in Österreich gemacht. Als Aufnahmegerät kam eine Canon Eos 70d zusammen mit einem Meike Fisheye. Die Aufnahme habe ich in Rattenberg, der kleinsten Stadt Tirols gemacht. Hier kann man am Tage wie auch in der Nacht interessante Aufnahmen machen. Ich habe hier lediglich ein Einbein Stativ genommen. Zu Hause habe ich dann diese Aufnahme bearbeitet, ich wollte einfach einmal sehen was man so alles machen kann.
