Kingfisher
Sometimes you don't need to go far... Kingfishers can be found right on our doorstep, in the Ruhr meadows of Mülheim Ruhr. After the formerly dead branch of the Ruhr was renaturalized, these little fellows have settled in various spots here. Alongside them, you can capture a variety of birds and some amphibians. I took this shot with a 600mm Sigma lens. From various hiking trails and bridges, you can photograph these animals without disturbing them.

Eisvogel
Manchmal braucht es keine weiten Wege.... Eisvögel findet man bei uns vor der Haustür, in den Ruhrauen von Mülheim Ruhr. Nachdem der ehemalige gerade tote Ruhrarm wieder Renaturiert wurde haben sich hier an verschiedenen Stellen diese kleinen Gesellen angesiedelt. Neben Ihnen kann man eine Vielfalt von Vögeln sowie einige Amphibien vor die Linse bekommen. Diese Aufnahme habe ich mit einem 600mm Objektiv von Sigma geschossen. Von diversen Wanderwegen und Brücken kann man diese Tiere ablichten ohne sie dabei zu stören.
