Why this combination in the collage?
The Painted Lady butterfly, Thistle butterfly, has "flown away," as the specimen on the ground has reached the end of its life and becomes, among other things, an easy prey for a starling, which, as here, the facade breeder, has to care for its young.
The butterfly specimen on the summer lilac was taken in September, the butterfly on the ground in early June.
The west side of the facade had several nesting holes under the flat roof, smaller openings in the plaster, from which sparrows flew in and out; that was two years ago, these holes are now closed, the facade repaired. Why this combination in the collage?
