The Giant’s Causeway was formed by lava that cooled slowly, predominantly creating hexagons. This geometry gives the landscape an almost surreal but very interesting appearance. Hexagon Natural Stones - 1

Stopover in the northeast at the Giant’s Causeway in Ireland. A peninsula by the sea with a large area of hexagonal stone columns, densely packed at varying heights rising from the ground. It's hard to believe that this geometric shape of the stones formed naturally. But nature has always utilized optimal chemical and physical processes to achieve a stable result.
