After a very long time, it was worth the trip. More spontaneous than planned, we focused on the Brocken. Reaching the goal was no easy task. We thought we would drive by car and do the "rest" on foot or Plan B with the train. Plan B won. As justification, we had never taken the train up to the Brocken before, always on foot, which undeniably has its charm. The train ride also has its interesting aspects. The arrival treated us to wonderful weather with good visibility but very cold. We tried to take some interesting photos, which was not always easy. We did not expect such a high number of visitors. Als Rechtfertigung galt wir sind noch nie mit dem Zug zum Brocken rauf, stets und ständig zu Fuß, was unbestritten seinen Reiz hat. Die Fahrt mit der Bahn hat auch so ihre Interessanten Aspekte. Die Ankunft bescherte uns ein herrliches Wetter verbunden mit guter Fernsicht aber sehr kalt. Wir versuchten ein paar interresante Fotos zu machen was mitunter nicht so einfach war. Eine sehr hohe Besucherzahl haben wir nicht erwartet. Nun ja, es ist wie es ist. Beim nächsten mal wird der Brocken wieder zu Fuß erklommen.
