The temple complexes of Angkor are fascinating to me in many ways. Besides the memories of the ancient Hindu and partly Buddhist culture of the Khmer, the architecture is unique. One of the challenges on this photo trip for me, as someone from northern Germany, was definitely the climate, which felt more like "steaming."
