This is definitely one of my most technically challenging images and required the most planning. I had the idea for this shot for a long time, and thanks to an astro planning app, I found a window of a few days when it was possible. I just had to wait for the right weather in the area, drive to the Three Peaks parking lot, and wait for about 2 minutes when the rising full moon illuminates the Dolomite peaks... The light in the foreground is from Dreiheiden. Die Idee zu dem Bild hatte ich schon lange und dank einer Astro Planungsapp hab ich einen Zeitraum von ein paaar Tagen gefunden, wo das möglich war. Musste dann nur noch in der Gegend auf das richtige Wetter warten, auf den Parkplatz der drei Zinnen fahren und den Zeitraum von etwa 2 Minuten abwarten, wo der aufgehende Vollmond die Dolomitenspitzen beleuchtet... Das Licht im Vordergrund ist von Dreiheiden. Die verkleinerte Version hier gibt die Sterne leider nicht annähernd wieder.
