The Caught Patron Saint – Jonathan in Strawberry Mania
This creative macro photo was taken with the help of a glass ball (Lensball), which reveals the view of a maritime raised bed in the shape of a ship. In the center of the ball, the small, white decorative seagull "Jonathan" sits on the bow. Actually intended as a patron saint for the harvest, Jonathan was caught red-handed here as a strawberry thief: cheekily, he holds a freshly stolen, red strawberry in his beak. Through the optical refraction of the glass ball, the scene inside is depicted sharply and in detail, while the actual background dissolves into a harmonious, soft green bokeh. A playful composition that combines maritime garden decoration and creative glass ball photography with a wink. more Less
