The Blue-winged Jewel Dragonfly lives mainly at small to medium-sized streams and other flowing waters as well as at water ditches. I found this specimen at a ditch system belonging to a rainwater retention basin.

Blauflügel-Prachtlibelle
Die Blauflügel-Prachtlibelle lebt vor allem an kleinen bis mittelgroßen Bachläufen und anderen Fließgewässern sowie an Wassergräben. Dieses Exemplar habe ich an einem zu einem Regenrückhaltebecken gehörenden Grabensystem gefunden.
