Why did I name this picture like this? Because the branches raised against the sky suggest a silent, extraordinary prayer. And it seems the sun likes this "tree prayer," as it lets itself be seen for a moment between the dark branches before it paints the entire sky in deep red.

Anflehung
Warum ich dieses Bild so genannt habe? Weil die gegen den Himmel erhobenen Aste des Baumes auf ein stummes ungemeines Gebet deuten. Und es scheint, der Sonne gefällt dieses ÄBaumgebetÄ, da sie sich noch für einen Augenblick zwischen den dunkeln Ästen sehen lässt, bevor sie den ganzen Himmel in tiefes Rot malen wird.
