Thorenberg Castle is located in the Littau district of Lucerne on a hill in the forest. Originally built in the 12th century, the fortress was destroyed by the people of Lucerne in 1385. Around 1900, a new small castle in the style of medieval romanticism was built on the old foundations.

Die Burg Thorenberg befindet sich im Luzerner Stadtteil Littau auf einem Hügel im Wald. Ursprünglich im 12. Jahrhundert erbaut, wurde die damalige Festung 1385 von den Luzernern zerstört. Um 1900 errichtete man auf den alten Fundamenten ein neues Schlösschen im Stil der Mittelalterromantik.
