    Messier 101, also known as NGC 5457 and called the Pinwheel Galaxy, is a spiral galaxy in the constellation Ursa Major, appearing with an apparent size of 28.8′ × 26.9′ and an apparent brightness of 7.5 mag. Its distance from Earth is about 22 million light-years, and its diameter is 170,000 light-years. This makes it roughly the same size as our Milky Way. (Wiki)
